Staffhurst Woods
A dozen of us walked in Staffhurst woods in April to see the bluebells which had come out earlier than usual despite the cold, wet weather. We were lucky with the weather on the day of our walk although it was muddy underfoot in places and the bluebells were a delight. After a walk through the woods, we emerged into fields and carried on back to the car park at Grants Lane.
Our next walk in May will be in the Tonbridge area.
Walks are 3 – 3.5 miles long, starting in different locations each month. Some of the walkers stay on for lunch at local cafes or pubs.
