About the Group:

Horticulture is a vast topic which gives members the opportunity to find something new of interest, alternative ways of doing things and exchanging ideas or just visiting a garden together.

The GQT meetings cover topics connected to members various gardening problem and where knowledge is shared finding solutions. Issues are varied such as pests, plants not thriving, pruning how and when.

There is ever increasing evidence that connecting with nature, soil and plants has beneficial effects on wellbeing alongside mental health.

To stroll in your garden for The Pick of the Day is a real treat.

 

When and where?

Meetings take place at member’s gardens or visits to open gardens such as NGS, Hospice or a trip backstage at commercial nursery.
