Flora and Fauna Group, July meeting.

On Tuesday 30th July we said a big “Thank you” to our retiring group leaders, Stephanie and Penny. They have worked hard to give us some wonderful visits and we are extremely grateful to both of them and also to Colin, Penny’s husband, for his expertise on shrubs and trees. We have learnt a lot and had great fun while doing so!
We enjoyed a companionable time, sitting outside at the Landemare cafe, Chartwell, on a beautifully hot and sunny morning.
Ideas for future group trips were put forward and we also discussed and agreed a very slight name change from “G of E Flora and Fauna” to just “Flora and Fauna”.
We will be having our first meeting with new group leaders, Rosie and Claire, in September.
